DEADLINE DAY and Risky Rockefeller will run in the Green Street Bloodstock silks at Kranji in Singapore on Sunday.

Deadline Day, a promising Maiden winner at the course earlier this year, tries 1400m in Race 3 (Class 4) today and Allan Munro gets the ride.

“He will enjoy the extra and in time will go 2000m,” said GSB Director Justin Vermaak. “It’s still very early days for him and he is only having his third start. He is a late maturing type of horse so we haven’t been hard on him, he goes out for more experience. With no presssure on him, in quite a hot field, we’ll be happy with a place.”

He said of Risky Rockefeller (Manuel Nunes, Race 11, 1400m): “He is better suited to 1400m, but has drawn out wide again. Hopefully we can run in the money here, he raced very wide last time.”
