DUAL Gr1 winner Erupt (IRE) has arrived safely in South Africa and is in quarantine having a good feed.
“He travelled extremely well as you’d expect from a global traveller and is in fantastic condition,” reported Justin Vermaak of Green Street Bloodstock, who brokered the deal for Maine Chance Farms alongside Robin Bruss of Northfields Bloodstock.
Erupt will join the Maine Chance stallion roster this season, to stand alongside premier stallions Silvano and Querari. He is in Johannesburg for 30 days and will be at Maine Chance Farm by 1 September.
Justin added: “He will be the only European Gr.1 winning son of one of the world’s best stallions Dubawi, to stand in South Africa. Owing to a cancellation, there are still some shares available, and he will stand at a fee of R50,000.”
