GREEN Street Bloodstock’s Ambassador Bernard Fayd’Herbe had ridden many seconds and thirds for GSB until Saturday when three-year-old Last Outlaw finally assisted him to break the ice with an excellent win at Greyville.
“Justin reminded me in the parade ring of our many places and said maybe it was time for a win, so I am delighted,” said Bernard.
“Last Outlaw wasn’t well drawn, but he has a nice big action and I used it. Billy Jacobson and I went head to head down the straight, Last Outlaw dug deep and he got there, well done to all!”
Justin commented: “Last Outlaw trained off after the TBA Million but he had a few niggles and this was a good training feat by Gavin van Zyl to get him back to his best.”
Justin said he was happy with Green Street’s good recent run of success and told:”There are plenty of unraced horses to make their debuts over the next few months, Thanks to all our syndicate members for their ongoing support.”
Miss Malbec (2nd), Black Hall Bar (3rd) and Inga (4th) were other GSN runners who placed at the weekend.
