WITH Snaith Racing still riding the crest of a wave after their 2018 Sun Met day accomplishments, there has been sustained speculation about the future campaigns of Gr1 Majorca Stakes winner Snowdance and Gr1 Sun Met winner Oh Susanna in particular.
Justin and the team are grateful for the interest and excitement Saturday’s results have generated – racing is, after all, built on champions – and started by confirming firstly that both fillies have taken their races well.
Secondly, having had an opportunity to discuss matters with Jack Mitchell, Gaynor Rupert and the Drakenstein Stud team, they confirm there are no plans for an international campaign for either of the horses at this stage.
Speaking on behalf of the stable, Jono Snaith confirmed that export plans were off the table until progress on South Africa’s export protocol had been achieved.
The immediate plans are for both horses to be rested and then begin preparation for the Durban season. – Sporting Post.
