Green Street Bloodstock sent out their first syndicated runner, Miss Nightingale, who stepped up to the plate to win at first time of asking! The filly by freshman sire, Warm White Night was the first horse to be knocked down to GSB as active buyers at last year’s CTS Book 2 sale. Miss Nightingale sat just off the pace in the 1000m event and picked up the pace nicely turning into the straight, despite hanging in from greenness, she quickened up well to gun down the two lead horses including hot pot favourite, Variable Pitch, from the Charles Laird stable. Most of the owners were on course and experienced their first race horse winning first time out and it was a great start to the GSB initiative. Well done to Jason Kuprtz, Anthony Destombes, Kyle Johnstone and Dolf Rossouw who are the owners of the filly.

Miss Nightingale has been nominated for the non-black type King’s Pact Stakes to be run at Scottsville on March 29, this will be a good gauge to see how good she is and a more complete programme can be planned after that test.
