MIKE Bracher is an enthusiastic young owner who would like to expand his interests in racing as his promising career develops.
He works for Old Mutual as a Financial Adviser and derives tremendous satisfaction from helping people to realise their financial dreams.
Mike’s love for racing comes from his family. His father for a while worked as an assistant trainer, his cousin is jockey Donovan Yeo, who is back riding after a spell away from racing and his brother in law is the popular Johnny Panas, retired from race riding and a businessman these days.
Mike says: “Racing is a sport of dreams, we all have ambitions to own a champion but one can’t fulfil that if you don’t start the process of ownership, which Green Street Bloodstock makes available to starters in the game. I have a share in Blow In The Box, who ran a cracker debut recently and we’re hoping he can win a few races. I will take more shares in due course because it is in many respects a numbers game – the more you own, the better your chances of cracking a really top horse!
