GREEN Street Bloodstock’s Sail From Seattle filly Coral Queen, 6th on debut on the Polytrack last month, made good improvement to finish third in a Maiden Juvenile Plate over 1000m at Scottsville on Sunday.

She was green throughout the running, but showed consistent good pace and was beaten only 0.35-lengths when they hit the wire, just nudged out of second.

“Coral Queen is out of a Rich Man’s Gold mare, she’s bred for 1600m plus and we’re expecting her to come into her own as a three-year-old so this was a very good sprint,” commented Justin Vermaak.
