THREE-year-old Black Minnaloushe filly Beaute Noir, in her first start for Weiho Marwing’s yard, won a good Maiden over 1400m at Scottsville on Wednesday in the hands of Marco van Rensburg.

This was a first run after a rest and stable change and it was impressive, as she is bred to stay.

“Thanks to Green Street Bloodstock for giving me this filly to train. I looked at her pedigree and for her to show the pace she does is promising,” said Marwing.

Justin Vermaak commented: “She has a touch of class, I think 2000m will be her game.”

Beaute Noir was a R200,000 purchase at the Emperors Palace Select Yearling Sale of 2015.
